The Training & Education Centre is located on the ground floor of the MICRO-TECH headquarters at Mündelheimer Weg 36 in Düsseldorf.

The official name is Training & Education Centre INSPIRE.YOU.

There will be a dedicated website for the entire INSPIRE.YOU training and education concept. The website will be available from 14 October 2023 at www.inspireyou.micro-tech-europe.com.

Meike Paetau is responsible for the supervision and organisation of the trainings from 1 July 2023. Her job title is Assistant Training & Education.

There is an external target group consisting of doctors and professionals.

There is currently a cooperation with a dedicated training institute, the ORSI Academy. There are also negotiations with IRCAD, the Gemelli Hospital in Rome and the University Hospitals of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The goal is also a long-term cooperation with ESGE, through which we would like to offer accredited courses. A cooperation with ESGENA has already been agreed to.

INSPIRE.YOU is the platform for training in the EMEA region. There can be trainings in all languages of the region. Beginning primarily with English and German.

All participants can register themselves for the training events. Data that may be made generally available will be shared with the sales teams.

There will be a calendar, which will be maintained by Meike Paetau. Free time slots can be viewed and bookings will be coordinated by Meike Paetau.

In general, the Training & Education Centre will be available to all dedicated MICRO-TECH companies from the EMEA region. The training centre is also available to our external trainers by arrangement. For example, the major event “Workshop Week” will take place in our Training & Education Centre from 2024. Bookings can only be made via inspireyou@micro-tech-europe.com.

In general, the premises of the Training & Education Centre are supposed to be accessible to our distributors. More details about the procedures are still being worked out. Enquiries are made via the respective sales managers and forwarded to Meike Paetau. She will coordinate the bookings.

The trainings are conducted by renowned doctors and specialists with the support of our internal product and application specialists.

Currently there is a pool of four German doctors. The aim is to build up a pool of changing German and international doctors and nurses.

The training materials are being prepared by the external trainers.

Translations should be suitable for native speakers and consistent in content. To ensure this, native speakers in English, French and Dutch from MICRO-TECH EMEA will assist with proofreading.

There will be models for different training contents. Meike Paetau is responsible for organising and holding the models.

There will be three Pentax endoscope towers in 2023 and four in 2024. These are equipped with gastroscopes with a working channel of 3.2 mm and duodenoscopes with a working channel of 4.2 mm.

In 2023 there will be three working stations, in 2024 four.

The models of the Training & Education Centre remain there and are not made available elsewhere. Exceptions are the large European congresses (ESGE and UEG Week).

Products from the marketing/PM archive are available for training in the training centre and can be ordered via Meike Paetau. Products that are also needed for training can be booked out via SAP as before.

Once a suitable wipeable floor has been laid in the hands-on area and manual reprocessing has been set up, wet training for ESD and other resections is possible.

There will be free and paid events.

In the first step, the Training & Education Centre will be supported by the entire company. The goal is for the training centre to be self-sustaining through the trainings.

Distributors: The costs are to be borne by the distibutor.
Non-distributors: The respective entity bears the costs (e.g. MICRO-TECH UK for UK participants, MICRO-TECH France for France participants, etc.). For regular participants, the courses are always exclusive of travel and accommodation.

Not yet, but there will be accredited courses in the future.

With every participation, regardless of the type of training, there will be certificates from MICRO-TECH.

The premises of the Training & Education Centre are designed for hands-on training for up to 20 participants and seminars for up to (currently) 64 participants. Hybrid and online formats are available for an unlimited number of participants. Types of trainings can be Basic/ Advanced/Expert trainings, workshops or special trainings.

The concept and our equipment allow us to offer both training formats.

In the premises of the INSPIRE.YOU Training & Education Centre, there will only be one event at a time (with exceptions such as launch events and the workshop week).

The plan is to include value themes in all external trainings.

Yes, it has the the possibility to broadcast the trainings via Zoom and other video transmissions in the large auditorium as well as in the seminar room.
