The SHOW-Metal-Stents from MICRO-TECH are indicated for applications in the bile duct and are suitable for both short and long wire systems. Irrigation is no longer necessary. Made of flexible Nitinol wire, the stent is designed to adapt to biliary conditions. The atraumatic stent ends are characterised by their soft edges. For precise placement, there are overall two radiopaque markers on the stent itself and two more on the introducer set. The point of no return (for uncovered and partially covered stents) allows repositioning of the stent. The automatic guidewire exit is located at approx. 30 cm and ends at approx. 35 cm.
