The DAT Closure Device is designed for simplicity, speed, and effectiveness in gastrointestinal defect closure. Its centre stem and independently operating arms enable precise tissue capture and controlled manipulation for secure mucosal and submucosal defect closure. The DAT Closure Device is easily repositionable before deployment and can be used on its own or to approximate and hold tissue margins in place while additional LOCKADO™ Clips are applied for enhanced closure security.

The Closure Device has two independently controllable arms that enable safe initial approximation of the tissue. Once the tissue edges have been approximated, the defect can be completely closed using conventional TTS clips, allowing defects up to 5 cm in size to be treated.
Precise tissue grasping with the first arm and controlled manipulation
Grabbing the opposite tissue with the other arm
The released clip ensures secure tissue closure
